Why we made this
When someone is loved across three countries and two generations, no single afternoon is enough to remember him. We made this place so his story stays where everyone can reach it – family in Calgary, sisters and cousins in Vietnam and China, friends and customers everywhere.
Everything written here comes from our family’s obituary and service announcement. Personal recollections appear only when the family has chosen to share them. It is a small site, on purpose – his story, his journey, his photographs, and a place for yours.
The lotus
The lotus represents peace and the journey to heaven. On Tommy’s late son Johnson’s headstone, the family placed one lotus flower with fourteen petals, representing their family, including him. With the family’s blessing, that symbol now carries through Tommy’s memorial.
